A confirmation event is a community, a covenant. To preserve the integrity of the event and to reinforce the values inherent in the anticipated vows of church membership (especially the vow of presence), participants are expected to attend the whole event, start to finish. No participant should expect to come late, leave early, or drop in and out of the event once it begins (except for illness or family emergency). If anyone asks for an exception, we will decline and invite them to attend another event for which they can commit to full participation.

Once a registration is accepted, plans and provisions are put in place - rooms reserved, food purchased, materials prepared and most important, other applications for your spaces are turned away. For this reason, if a confirmed reservation is cancelled, your deposit is non-refundable. In addition, if a cancellation comes within 30 days of an event, other penalty fees may be accessed by the conference facility.

Carefully check and verify that both of us have the correct dates for your event. The Foundation sponsors many events during the year and neither of us can afford any confusion here. Because of the plans and provisions mentioned above, once a registration is confirmed, it is difficult if not impossible to move a group to another event. Let's be sure we get it right the first time.

To attend a Confirm Weekend, youth must be at the 6th grade age level or older and must be somewhere in the confirmation process of a local church. Please do not plan to bring infants or other under-age children to an event. Past experience has taught us that this is a distraction for both participants and leaders.
